 The
fun begins Thursday evening, October 14th...
Pre-race "get together" and display
at the greatest race restaurant on earth, Race Rock! Starting at
4:00 PM. "Street Outlaws" cruise down International Drive at 8:00
PM. Trailer parking for the Race Rock deal located at a paved overflow
lot for the Orange County Convention Center. The lot is south of
Race Rock behind a multi-level parking garage (Canadian Court Parking Lot).
Be at the parking lot early enough so you can get ready and be at Race
Rock with your hot rod by 4:00 PM. "Press" & "Spectator" parking
at Race Rock. Bring your still & video cameras, this is one cool
place to visit again & again.
 Directions
to Race Rock: From the "Bee Line" (528), Exit 1 (International
Drive) then go North to Race Rock. From Interstate 4, Take Sand Lake
Road Exit. Go East to International Drive then South to Race Rock.
Race Rock is located at: 8986 International Drive, Orlando
Speed World will open for Street
Nationals racer parking from 9:00 PM 'til 11:00 PM. Please
be prepared to purchase your credentials when you park on Thursday night!

general "spirit" of the World Street Nationals rules. Pay particularly

EASY WORLD
STREET NATIONALS RULES:
Due to the
rapidly changing performance capabilities of certain race combinations
AND the fact that our race is a once a year spectacular, we reserve the
right to make rule adjustments prior to the beginning of the event at the
discretion of the event organizers. Any adjustments will be posted
here, at www.speedworlddragway.com as soon as possible.

NHRA Safety Rules.

All weights listed are "with driver".

Pro Ladders.

No Cubic Inch limit.

Stock style and general shape car bodies.

Must have working horn, headlights, taillights and mufflers.

Special Notes For Racers &
Fans
Spectator Motor Homes: We
know it is great to be able to bring your own motor home to an event like
the World Street Nationals and set up camp for the long weekend.
We will do our best to accommodate motor homes for the spectator parking
area. However, there will be a charge that has yet to be determined.
Expect it to be no more than $100 for the motor home plus full event credentials
for each person in your party. Be advised that there are no hook
ups and no dump stations. Dump before you arrive. Be advised
that all motor homes are subject to search at anytime. We want this
to work for everyone.
Racers will pit by class: Friends
in the same class may park together if you enter the pits together.
NO saving spots. It is NOT "first come first choice" parking.
An official will show you where to park. Everyone will be pitted
NEAR a paved road.
Keep your admission credentials with you:Those
without proper credentials may be escorted off the property or be required
to purchase a new credential. If you leave the track, take your admission
ticket. You will need it for re-admission.
What if it rains? We
will do the best we can with the conditions we are dealt. There are
no "refunds" of admission or race entry fees. We will continue the
event to a reasonable conclusion or honor tickets at a future event.
There is no set rain date.
Vehicle admission to the pits is limited to
racers, vendors and working staff. Normal rule
is one (1) tow vehicle per race entry. We have heard it all.
Please cooperate. This is for the benefit of all concerned. Especially
the racers. Use of 3 wheelers, 4 wheelers, golf carts, pit bikes
and motorcycles in the pits by spectators is NOT guaranteed.
The World Street Nationals is a one of a kind
event exclusively for "heads-up", doorslammers.
The growth of the event has been steady and fueled by a group of racers
and fans with a love of this kind of racing. Please, everyone, relax
and enjoy. This is a huge event at a very modest track. We
know there are bigger and better tracks but this is the only one we have.
Please respect our efforts to have the best facility we can under the conditions
of our lease and county restrictions.
Spectator seating is limited. It
is available on a first come first serve basis. Please do not attempt
to block off large numbers of seats. If your party wants to sit together
we suggest you arrive together and early for the best chance at seating.
